Writing this book has helped me to release a lot of anger, pain, and guilt. It deals with the struggle abuse leaves behind. I hope this book can give someone the courage to stand and fight to go on. The pain is heard, but we can be free from it and help keep our children from falling through the system. Maybe this book will help someone come forth and tell their story and not be afraid or ashamed. I have lived it, seen it, and overcome it. By writing this book, it gives me a feeling of self-worth knowing it just might help someone heal.
