by Denise Cox Robinson (Author)

This is the story of a true entrepreneur. He discovered that his life's destiny would include loving, nuturing, and caring for an extended zoo family. The family would include tigers, alligators, monkeys, snakes, lions, bears, and many other creatures. It would be the only zoo in Austin, Texas during the 1940's, 50's and 60's. Narrated by the zookeeper himself, his wife and daughter, this adventure includes a lot of hilarious stories about his pets and customers. The book is inspiring as it portrays what one individual achieved with determination and true spirit.

She married Norman Robinson in 1972 and moved to Spokane, Washington in 1977 along with their son, Chris.
